The St. Clair Shores Fire Department is holding an open house at the Central Fire Station from noon-4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, to kick off Fire Prevention Week.
Attend and check out the smokehouse, meet Sparky the Fire Dog and speak with Scooter the Talking Fire Hydrant. Educational materials and handy tip sheets will be available, too, to help you make your home into a safer place.
Refreshments will be provided by the St. Clair Shores Firefighters Union #1744.
