Community Corner

Fundraiser for Denise Bryan

Denise Bryan was a long-time St. Clair Shores resident and teacher at Violet Elementary School who lost her two-year battle with breast cancer Sept. 18, 2012.

In addition to teaching, she was a member of the Detroit Red Wings For’em club and initiated the club practice of raising money for Turning Point and Gilda’s Club.

To help offset the costs of fighting cancer for this active member of the community, a fundraiser has been planned at Lakeland Manor Thursday to help pay for her medical bills.
