Joy of Sushine ~ Still Too stressed?!?

Days are so noticably longer now with sunshine,  and the Summer Equinox on June 21st, the season has arrived for FULL THROTTLE SUMMER FUN!

What joyful summer activities have you planned?  Perhaps catching lightening bugs,  home-made lemonade & watermelon & ice cream, hammock time, camping with hot dogs & s'mores? Beach, boating and BBQ? Vacation?

Or, are you anxious about having no time off the job,  or not having a job?  Is the idea of traveling by vehicle with current $4++ gas rates putting you over the edge?  Maybe trying to figure out how to fit in one more thing in your day,  or your week---to splurge and steal some free time or down time just for you to relax?

Something I have been observing for quite awhile is that all of us,  individually and as a family, or an extended family---we all have a 'pattern' of what we do on a daily basis, and what we do throughout the year,  working & studying from fall through the spring, then planning to have the time to have bigger summertime fun.  But,  times have been trying as the world turns and  times are changing in leaps and bounds for many.

The #1 thing that we can do for ourselves is schedule a time slot,  even 10 minutes a day (preferably to start your morning on the right track), to 'manage your stress'.  Yep.  One more thing,  BUT, it will change your course---on every level.

Did you know that the trend across all Fortune, Best & Top companies to work for is now:  "create a culture of health and wellness".  In addition to the basics of a gym on site and healthier eating choices, many are adding yoga, meditation and breath-flow, throughout each and every department and cube.

With these longer days that tend to motivate us to expand our TO-DO LISTS, this could be the perfect time to schedule yourself some Me-Time, and begin to create,  or re-create,  'your health and wellness'.  Every single thing we do,  the easiest to Be Still, Breathe, Meditate;  and every time we do something we enjoy, we are relaxing (inducing the relaxation response) AND boosting our immune system as well.  How would that be for summer FUN?!?
