Macomb County Receives Grant From The Community Foundation For Southeast Michigan For The Fight Against Coronavirus

Macomb County recently received a grant in the amount of $25,000 from the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan to aid county efforts in the fight against COVID-19. The grant is intended to promote increased capacity and support at the Macomb County Health Department.

“We’re deeply grateful for the generosity of the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan, and the positive effect it will have in helping us serve the residents of Macomb County,” said William Ridella, director/health officer at the Macomb County Health Department. “This grant will strengthen our local efforts against the COVID-19 pandemic with staffing, supplies and equipment.”

As a permanent community endowment built by gifts from thousands of individuals and organizations, the Foundation supports a wide variety of activities benefiting education, arts and culture, health, human services, community development and civic affairs.
