Prosecutors said Kramer voted in-person at her local polling location on election day in St. Clair Shores for the August Primary, despite knowing that she had already returned an absentee ballot for the same election.

"Although cases of double voting are extremely rare, my office remains committed to prosecuting voter fraud," Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel said. "Through the preliminary examination process, our prosecutors were able to exhibit sufficient evidence of the alleged offenses to advance this case toward a trial, and we are pleased to see this case proceed through the judicial process."
