Parade Grand Marshal Nominations Being Accepted

The St. Clair Shores Parade Committee is accepting nominations for grand marshal of the 2014 St. Clair Shores Memorial Day Parade.

Nominees must be an active member or veteran of the United States Armed Forces, a resident of St. Clair Shores, active in civic or military organizations, and willing and available to participate in the parade and related festivities on Sunday, May 25, 2014, according to a release.
 
Nominations are due no later than December 1, 2013 and must include the full name of the nominee, military affiliation, a brief explanation of why he or she has earned the honor of serving as the grand marshal, and both the nominee's and nominator's contact information. The nominee will be notified of his or her selection by March 1, 2014.  

The theme for the 2014 Memorial Day Parade: "HONOR. FREEDOM. FAMILY"
