• St. Clair Shores approves $120,000 for unexpected catch basin repairs (mlive.com) — St. Clair Shores has approved an extra $120,000 to repair 35 badly deteriorated catch basins along 11 Mile Road, keeping the total patching program within this year's $1 million budget. City leaders also postponed the second phase of 11 Mile work to 2028 to avoid conflicts with Jefferson Avenue utility construction and ordered a more thorough engineering review before rebidding remaining pavement repairs.
