St. Clair Shores Drivers Find Lower Prices at Pump

Local drivers were finding relief at the pump this week, with prices as low as $3.26 in St. Clair Shores, according to GasBuddy.com.

The average price of around $3.26 Thursday was nearly the same as the previous week of approximately $3.25 and down from last month's $3.37. The average gas price was higher last year at this time, hovering around $3.47 in Metro Detroit, the site reports.

According to GasBuddy.com, the lowest prices Thursday in St. Clair Shores were:

• $3.26 at the Marathon at 29600 Harper and 12 Mile
• $3.29 at the Citgo at Little Mack and Martin
• $3.29 at Shell at 22222 Greater Mack Ave and California
• $3.29 at Mobil at 19600 E 9 Mile Rd and I-94
