THIS IS LORELEI to Expand World Tour with Bleachers, @, Colin Miller (broadwayworld.com) — Sterling Heights music fans can catch This Is Lorelei live on September 29 at the Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre at Freedom Hill as part of an expanded world tour. The indie project, supporting a new album on Matador Records, is joining Bleachers and other acts on a wide-ranging run of U.S., European, and South American dates.
   

2. Man to serve 22 years in fatal shooting outside of Sterling Heights hotel (macombdaily.com) — A Center Line man has been sentenced to 20–35 years in prison, plus two years for a firearm charge, for the 2025 shooting death of a man outside a Sterling Heights hotel on Van Dyke. The case involved a long police standoff, text negotiations with a Sterling Heights detective, and restitution ordered to support the victim's family after the loss of a young father.

4. US Army's XM-30: The Bradley Replacement Built To Fight With—Or Without—A Crew (eurasiareview.com) — Sterling Heights defense firms General Dynamics Land Systems and American Rheinmetall Vehicles are central competitors in the U.S. Army's XM‑30 program to replace the Bradley fighting vehicle. A new Congressional Research Service brief explains the program's phases, recent prototype deliveries, funding plans, and how leadership changes in Washington could affect future contracts and local industry work.
   

5.
