Picket lines remain active outside the Three Rivers facility while limited production continues inside, and GM is watching its axle supply closely with roughly two weeks of inventory on hand.

Three Rivers auto workers begin strike, demand fair compensation for labor (watershedvoice.com) — Auto workers at American Axle’s Three Rivers plant have gone on strike after contract talks stalled, demanding higher wages, better benefits, and stronger job security. A beloved local practitioner for nearly four decades, he was deeply involved in his church and Christian education, and leaves behind his wife Shirley, five children, many grandchildren, and a wide circle of friends and patients.
   

5. Hyundai Sonata Joins Camry and Accord in Sedan Sales Surge: TDS (thedrive.com) — Workers at GM’s axle plant in Three Rivers walked off the job Monday, with the company reportedly holding about two weeks of axle inventory. That local labor action appears in a broader national and international roundup of auto industry news, from surging sedan sales to new EV models and performance updates.
