2 Charged In Troy Stolen Car Chase, Police Shooting
Two men are facing charges in connection to a stolen car chase that ended in a police shooting in Troy.
TROY, MI — Two men are facing charges in connection to a stolen car chase that ended in a police shooting Tuesday in Troy.
Cecil Bobby Pulliam, 25, was charged with felony assault, receive and conceal stolen property and flee and elude. He was still listed in stable condition at nearby hospital, while in custody. He was given a $1 million bond.
Lajuan Lamarr Jefferson Jr., 20, was charged with charged with receive and conceal stolen property. He was placed in jail with a $100,000 bond.

A license plate camera captured the stolen car, which was taken from a Southfield car dealership on Nov. 6, and alerted officers at 3:15 p.m., police said.
Moments later, officers found Pulliam driving the stolen car that was stopped at a traffic light and tried boxing-in the car on East Big Beaver, just west of Daley near Rochester Road in Troy, police said.

Pulliam then began to ram his way out of the attempted box-in, driving straight toward an Officer who had exited his vehicle to make an arrest, police said.
As the car drove toward him, the officer fired five shots, striking Pulliam one time in the upper body, police said.
The car continued moving a short distance before crashing into another vehicle, police said.
Officers then arrested the driver and a passenger in the stolen car, police said.
Pulliam was taken to a nearby hospital where he remains in custody and in stable condition, police said.
Jefferson Jr. was treated for minor injuries he suffered in the crash, police said. He was placed in jail on two active felony warrants from other local jurisdictions, police said.
