Nino Salvaggio International Marketplace, the premier specialty market in metro Detroit, is celebrating the global Olympic afterglow with a free International Weekend Friday, March 28 through Sunday March 30 at two of its locations: 17496 Hall Road, Clinton Township and 6835 Rochester Road, Troy. The St. Clair Shores location at 27900 Harper Avenue will have limited sampling. Hours for the International Weekend are 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Sunday.
The Nino Salvaggio International Weekend will feature many different ethnic food samplings, recipes, live music and other global goods as a way to continue to share the worldly Olympic spirit. Foods from more than one dozen countries and several regions—from Italy to China to Lebanon—are all included in the festivities.
