Oakland Youth Orchestras – Call for Auditions

Student instrumentalists with a love of music and a desire to broaden their music experience are invited to audition for the Oakland Youth Orchestras’ 40th season on weekends, April 25 through May 18 at Oakland University, Varner Hall. Audition signup begins April 3 online at www.oyomi.org.

Auditions assist conductors in placing each student, generally in grades two through twelve, at the appropriate skill level to provide optimum learning conditions in each of OYO’s four orchestras. Students will have the opportunity to join nearly 350 other students from throughout southeast Michigan. All returning and prospective OYO members must audition.
