Bidding Starts at $46K for West Bloomfield Home in Auction

Properties in West Bloomfield, Orchard Lake, Sylvan Lake, and Keego Harbor are among the more than 1,500 to be auctioned this week as part of Oakland County's land sale of tax-foreclosed properties.

Minimum bids on the county properties range from $339.40 for a piece of residential land in Pontiac to $98,775.73 for a vacant business lot in Holly.

Among the residential improved properties are 5127 Lake Bluff Rd. in West Bloomfield, starting at $46,057.42.

Other improved properties include:

• 7363 Creek View Ct., West Bloomfield (condominium improved, $10,580.05)
• 2968 Glenbroke Rd., Keego Harbor (residential improved, $19,601.49)
• 1675 Cass Lake Rd. Unit B, Keego Harbor (condominium improved, $5,524.90)
• 2364 Fordham St., Keego Harbor (residential improved, $3,577.08)
• 2367 Maplewood St., Sylvan Lake (residential improved, $14,191.52)

State law requires counties to hold two auctions annually. 

Here's what you need to know to participate in the auction:

• When: 10 a.m. Monday for township and village parcels; 10 a.m. Tuesday for all cities (except Pontiac); 10 a.m. Wednesday for Pontiac listings.
