Corktown's Detroit Institute of Bagels

We had a difficult time deciding on what to get as the menu is full of creative options, but settled on a #6 Breakfast Sandwich with egg, cheese & avocado, ($5.50) on a small batch Cheddar Jalapeno bagel (+ $1) and Joseph Wesley Tea $2… everything was fresh and delicious.

Detroit Institute of Bagels is reasonably priced with a variety of sandwiches, soups, bagels and spreads on the menu. Breakfast sandwiches are $3- $5.50 and lunch sandwiches $6- $11. They also have a display of Michigan-made products available for purchase.

Fresh, friendly and tasty… all things you should look for in your bagel & coffee shop. Detroit Institute of Bagels is comfy and welcoming. You can grab a pick me up or some food and plop down at their counter overlooking Michigan Avenue or get cozy at a table, either way you will feel relaxed and satisfied with the vibe and taste!
