Fourth Grader at Brookfield Academy Takes Third at National Fencing Event

Elizabeth Upton, a fourth grader at Brookfield Academy, travelled this weekend to Columbus Ohio to fence in the 2015 Arnold Fencing Classic

The Arnold Fencing Classic is a part of the Arnold Sports Festival, the largest multi-sport festival in the world.

Elizabeth, who fences out of the Renaissance Fencing Club in Troy, took third place and earned a bronze medal in the Y10 Women’s Foil event.  She is show here with Coach Tony Kosla, also from the Renaissance Fencing Club
