MAE'S: A CHARMING PLEASANT RIDGE DINER

Mae's, previously known as Anna's Coffee Shoppe, is Pleasant's Ridge's oldest restaurant

They are open for breakfast, lunch and weekend brunch. Hours are Tuesday- Friday 6:30am- 3pm and Saturday- Sunday 8am- 3pm.

When Mae’s isn’t making their menu items right in house, they proudly keep it Michigan-made by using local ingredients and products such as Zingerman’s, Faygo, Vernors, Better Made, McClure’s, Great Lakes Coffee and Guernsey Dairy.

Their food is outstanding and reasonably priced. We had the Hippie Omelet ($5.75), Plain Old Platter (two eggs, hashbrowns, toast and meat $6.50), a single pancake and side of potato latkes. I must say we were as pleased with the prices as we were with every single bite we took.

Mae’s comfort food is very fitting for the feel; cozy & comfortable. You can post up at a teal stool at the diner’s counter, grab a small table inside or gather on the outdoor patio. They obtained a liquor license which means you can accompany your scrumptious meal with a Bloody Mary, Mimosa, cocktail or local beer of choice.
