Olga's Kitchen Celebrates 45th Anniversary With Special One-Day Event

Olga's Kitchen Founder Olga Loizon will be at the Compuware location on March 5, 2015. Select menu items available at 45¢ for loyal guests.

TROY, Mich.—Olga’s Kitchen, Inc. (Olga’s), a leader in the casual dining restaurant industry with 29 locations throughout Michigan and Illinois, announced today that it will celebrate the restaurant’s milestone 45th anniversary by offering 45¢ specials on select menu items at all locations during its one-day anniversary event.

On Thursday, March 5, 2015, Olga’s Kitchen is giving back to its three generations of loyal guests through a limited time only discount on its delicious small plates menu items. Guests can visit any Olga’s location and order the classic Olga’s Snackers™ side, Olga’s Seasoned Curly Fries side, Greek Curly Fries, Italian Pasta Salad, the newly released Quinoa Harvest Salad or a Small Olga Salad for just 45¢ each with any purchase by simply mentioning the company’s 45th anniversary special. Limit five (5) per person with any purchase.

In addition to the specials on menu items, Olga’s Kitchen will also have historical memorabilia on display at its Compuware Plaza restaurant, located at 1040 Woodward Avenue in Detroit, that will bring to life the story of this iconic brand. With a special guest appearance by Olga’s Kitchen Founder, Olga Loizon, from noon to 3 p.m., guests can enjoy viewing photos of Olga Loizon from when she first started the business in 1970, historic newspaper clippings recounting the company’s growth, Olga’s Kitchen branded tchotchkes dating back to the 1970s and more. The historical artifacts will remain on display throughout the day on March 5.
