About The Performers:

Jean Watson

Internationally acclaimed singer/songwriter and classically trained violinist Jean Watson delved into the Christian recording world in 2003. She has recorded seven albums to date including her latest CD, “Steady My Gaze” featuring Grammy nominated producer Billy Smiley, guitar virtuoso Phil Keaggy, and John Ellis of ‘Tree63’. Jean’s musical style is eclectic and features an abundance of celtic-infused violin and Watson’s signature haunting vocals. She has been honored four times as the Best Female Praise and Worship Artist USA by the UK Christian Music Alliance. Watson can be heard worldwide on UCB Radio Ireland where she hosts a daily inspirational radio show. Watson has appeared on The 700 Club, TBN’s Praise The Lord, Cornerstone Television Network’s flagship show, Real Life, LeSea TV’s The Harvest Show, CTN’s Bridges and many more media outlets across the globe.

John Standefer

A world-class fingerstyle guitarist, John is the winner of the 2002 National Fingerstyle Guitar Championship at Winfield, Kansas and the Open Division winner of the 2004 International Home of the Legends Competition. He teaches and performs yearly at the Chet Atkins Appreciation Society convention in Nashville to honor his mentor. John has performed at venues around the world.
He is founder of the Praise Guitar Workshop, the most complete guitar course ever designed for the Christian guitarist. John also performs and teaches at the annual Christian Musician Summit. A gifted and enthusiastic teacher, John has published numerous books, tab and videos to help guitarists of all levels improve their skills. He also offers online lessons as well as local lessons in Portland, Oregon and Vancouver, Washington.

Rufus Harris

Take the vocal and melodic sound of Seal; add a little funk; guitar work like Toto; bundled with a spiritual focus; and you have - Rufus Harris. With three projects under his belt and two more in the making – this Recording Artist has taken Christian music to a whole new level. Each cleverly crafted album illustrates Rufus’ creativity and varied musical influences. Rufus co-founded The CAMP – Christian Artists and Musicians Project – a non-profit organization that assists and showcases diverse independent artists. Rufus continues to touch many with his unforgettable melodies and thought-provoking lyrics. He is pastor of The Bridge Church in Pontiac, Michigan.

Amy Susan Heard

Amy Susan Heard is known in the Metro Detroit area for her smooth, soulful, angelic voice. She has released 4 CD’s. Amy is a past winner of 2 Detroit Music Awards for Outstanding Christian Vocalist and Outstanding Christian Songwriter. She was also nominated for 16 awards in 2005, spanning 3 music categories of Christian/Gospel, Folk/Acoustic and Pop/ Rock. Amy has a Masters in Music (Vocal Performance and Musical Theatre) from the University of Montana and a Bachelor of Music and Minor in Dance from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan.
