Shinola has become a household name for Detroiters. A company that honestly & truly believes in Detroit and uses the city slogan “Made in Detroit” to sell their products. So it was an easy decision to go check them out and a pleasure to see their passion for crafting incredible products.
The Shinola Store is totally worth visiting even just for the experience. It is off Canfield in Detroit, 441 W. Canfield, right across from Motor City Brewing Works and City Bird. I know that when you think of Shinola, you more than likely think of their meticulously made watches and bikes which may be a little out of your financial reach, but don’t be discouraged, they have much more to offer. The store off Canfield is full of incredible options including; beautiful leather items, journals, tech accessories, and shoe polish to name a few. I picked up a couple small journals; a set of two was $6.75.

My friend and I visited the store off Canfield and we were glad we did. When you pull up you are immediately greeted with a stunning brick covered building. It is apparent that a lot of care goes into the look of the store as it is set up beautifully, everything perfectly in its place. When you look behind the counter, you can see where the bikes are made. An added bonus was the staff was super friendly and willing to chat.
It should also be noted that Drought has a counter in the Canfield store. Easy place to run in and grab a bottle of your favorite juice and check out all Shinola has to offerS
