Whole Foods Market Chooses Lighthouse of Oakland County
Whole Foods Community Support Day Three Oakland County Whole Foods Stores to donate 5% of net sales to Lighthouse of Oakland County.
Pontiac, Mich - Whole Foods has chosen Lighthouse of Oakland County for Community Support Day on Tuesday, February 24, 2015. Each of the three Whole Foods stores in Oakland County will donate 5% of net sales to support the programs and services of Lighthouse. A leading Oakland County human services agency, Lighthouse has been helping individuals and families move from crisis to self-sufficiency for 42 years.
Renee Mahon, Whole Foods Marketing and Community Relations Specialist said “Lighthouse aligns with our mission to support the community, uplift people and help make them whole. We hold Community Support days only four-times per year, so we have to look for the organizations we believe make the greatest impact.”
Lighthouse Chief Development Officer Priscilla Perkins added “Our new partnership with Whole Foods is a gift on many levels. Not only will the proceeds benefit our programs financially, but it opens up an opportunity for us to educate the Whole Foods consumer about how we benefit the community. This is priceless.”
