Downtown Milford hosts Fundraiser to support Local Woman’s Group

The Clothing Cove of Downtown Milford will host a special shopping night from 6:30 9 p.m. on Tuesday, May 14, to help raise funds for the Zonta Club of Milford, a service organization for women executives work together to improve the legal, educational, economic and professional status of women through projects and programs, locally and globally.


 


The night includes accessory demonstrations, spa and makeup demos by Celestial Derma and Flawless Radiance Makeup Artistry, a Joseph Ribkoff Trunk Show featuring a strolling fashion show, light refreshments, drawings for prizes and more. Upon arrival, guests will receive a $10 Clothing Cove credit to be used towards any purchase made throughout the night. Tickets cost $20 and can be purchased at the Clothing Cove, which is located at 414 North Main Street in Downtown Milford, or by calling (248) 684-8835.

The Zonta Club of Milford was formed in 1958 and is a chapter of Zonta International, a worldwide service organization of women executives in the business and professions working together to advance the status of women. The Zonta Club of Milford helps to provide educational scholarships to women in the community who are motivated to make positive changes in their lives. In addition to funding scholarships, the Zonta Club of Milford provides funding to fight domestic violence, workshops on abuse, self-esteem and interviewing skills. They work closely with Community Sharing, local high schools and HAVEN.
