How to Write a Graphic Novel

This Huron Valley Council for the Arts class is taught on Tuesdays and Thursdays in four-week sessions by George McVey and Michael Marcus at Highland Station House. Sign up for one of these sessions:

  • Feb. 3-24, 2011
  • March 2-23, 2011

This course is intended to teach students about the composition of a graphic novel and the techniques and factors that go into this unique form of storytelling. Students should have some degree of skill with cartooning and/or figure drawing as this course focuses on using these skills in storytelling.

  • Lab fee:  $5
  • Tuition for four-week session: $91 members, $104 nonmembers
