Stained Glass — Copper Foil

This Huron Valley Council for the Arts class is taught in one five-hour session by Diane Banister at Highland Station House.

Students will learn copper-foiled stained glass. Each will leave with a completed panel that's ready to hang. A basic design will be made using four pieces of beveled glass and eight pieces of colored glass. Students may choose from a variety of colored glass. They will learn how to cut and grind glass, apply copper foil to glass, solder foil and clean and polish their completed projects. Materials are provided.

  • Lab fee: $20 due at class.
  • Tuition for each five-hour class: $35 members, $40 nonmembers
