An Easy Task: Spend $100 in Wyandotte, Part Three

Ken Wojtkowiak spent his "Patch The Town" winnings at several Wyandotte businesses and events.

A few months ago, Wyandotte Patch hosted five contests to award $100 to five lucky readers. The winners were given a $100 prepaid gift card with one rule: The money must be spent in Wyandotte. We asked our winners to take some photos and send a short writeup on how they spent their money. This is the third in that series.

was the fourth winner in Here's how he spent his $100.

First it was off to super hero day at the event. I took my grandchildren, Sophie and Ben. They loved the chocolate covered pretzels and I got a dozen of the little cakes from A Serendipity Cakery. Yum. We stopped by the Wyandotte Patch tent to say hello and had a picture taken with Captain America. (He's the one without the shield. Ask my grandchildren.) Children had a great time and Sophie loved the bungee jump.
Then next came . It is really unbelievable what they had to endure on the journey here.
Then on to for breakfast. Great omelettes. Yum again.
We spent some time at . Again, the grandchildren loved all the kids' activities, especially the giant cotton candy.
One afternoon out of the blue, my wife and I had a craving for a perch sandwich. So where else but the . Great sandwich and beer.
I don't have a picture yet but our last stop will be at . Our neighbors gave my wife and I a gift certificate for our 45th anniversary. So we will use it and the last of the Patch gift card.
Thank you very much. We had a great time. My wife, Maryann, and I were both born in Wyandotte and went to school at . Wyandotte has so much to offer. Thanks again.
