“I expect Tyler Dunn to have a big year,” Adams said. “He has worked really hard.”

Aside from Dunn’s talents and leadership on the gridiron, he has also excelled for the Wyandotte track and field team.

In the classroom, Dunn has remained focus on academics and heads into the new school year with a 3.5 grade point average.

Take Five with Tyler Dunn

1. Who is your favorite teacher at Roosevelt and why?

I don’t really have (one) favorite teacher, I get along with all my teachers and all of them are nice.

2. Do you have any pregame superstitions?

For pregame I like to get a good stretch. I don’t really have any superstitions, but I just like to picture myself making a big play on the field.

3. Who is your favorite professional athlete and why?

My favorite professional athlete would have to be (Minnesota Vikings running back) Adrian Peterson. He is the definition of a BEAST. He runs hard, has good ball security and can catch.

4. What is your favorite place to hang out?

There is not one certain place I like to hang out. I just enjoy hanging out with my family and friends wherever.

5. What are your plans after graduation?

I don’t know what college I’m going to yet, but I want to major in sports science and become a personal trainer.
