Out of the Box Theater presents an award winning plat by Tennesse "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" set on a plantation in the 1950's, a family gethers to celebrate BIG DADDY's (Rob Eagal) 65th birthday.The mood is somber despite the festivities, because this is the night the family tells Big Daddy and Big Mama (Cindy Turgeon) Daddy has a terminal illness.Maggie (Brigette Clements) Big Daddy's daughter-in-law by his favorite son Brick (Bryan Kozinski) wants to give the news that she is finanly pregnant but her husband Brick wants nothing to do with this as he stays in a alcoholic haze the whole visit. Swarming all around them are very intrusive relatives: Brother Gooper (Craig Caricco), Sister Mae (Cheryl Eagal), their 3 "no neck monster" children (Kaden Kozinski, Maggie Hansen, Natalie Matevia) and Big Mama the southern matriarch. The air is filled with greed, sins and "mendacity". Other cast members: Doc Peter Munro, Rev. Doug Golema, and Charlene Bauer as Lacey the house servant.
