Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Polish Fest

Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish is holding its 39th Polish Festival. Stop in today, the final day of the celebration, and see the P.R.C.U. Rogalin Polish Dancers, straight out of Wyandotte; Stephanie Pietrzak, polka queen of Buffalo, N.Y.; the Polka Family Band from Bloomsburg, Pa.; Chicago's Eddie Blazonczyk & The Versatones; and if you're hungry, how about the pork chop dinner at 1 p.m.? Dinner is $9 for adults, and $4 for children under 12.

Also enjoy Polish music and food, hourly 50/50 raffle drawings, beer, Vegas games, bingo, dancing, Polish imports and more.

There's no admission charge to attend the festival, and there's free off-street parking on Electric Avenue, courtesy of DTE.
