It's time for Third Friday Fun downtown's central business district.
On Sept. 16 it's time for the Beer Bash — so close to Oktoberfest, after all. Buy a tasting mug for $15 and visit participating businesses for samples of Michigan beer.
Tonight's event is extended, with more beer (hooray!) and more entertainment, as Fifty Amp Fuse performs from 7-10 p.m. at First and Elm, in the Old Theater Lot.

Many shops and businesses extend their hours on Third Friday and offer freebies, specials and discounts to guests. Beer games, drawings and other fun is planned at Biddle and the Clock Tower, from 5-8 p.m.
Plus, on Third Fridays, people can take complimentary horse and carriage or trolley rides through the district.
