If you've ever wondered about the value of that old record album or what that teapot is worth, then head over to the Historic Marx Home on the Wyandotte Museums Campus on Saturday, Nov. 12, and find out.
Appraisers from DuMouchelle's Fine Arts Auctioneers and Estate Appraisers of Detroit will be in attendance from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. to offer verbal estimates of items you bring. They'll consider age, condition, and the fair market value of each item.
Participants may bring a maximum of three items for each 15-minute appointment. Those who have more than three items are advised to book additional time. It is also suggested that objects brought in for estimates be no larger than what can be carried by hand.

The fee for each item is $10. Proceeds from the appraisal clinic will benefit Wyandotte Museums and go toward the installation of the new city history gallery at the Ford-MacNichol Home.
