Glee Challenge Will Award $2,250 to Local Performers

Do you sing along with the tunes on Glee and wish you had your own high school stage to perform on?

The is ready to give you that chance.

The organization is hosting open auditions for its Glee Challenge from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the .

It costs $25 to enter and is open to performers of all ages.

Groups will be selected at the open audition, with the finalists moving on to a Nov. 11 show at the Flat Rock High School Community Auditorium. There, the finalists will compete in front of area judges for a chance of winning $1,000.

Second place will receive $750 and third place will get $500.

Those who already entered through the early submissions by turning in a CD or DVD don't need to attend the open audition.
