Slack said participants can bring layouts of rooms they are wondering about. She will speak about the principles of feng shui and answer questions, time permitting.
Slack defines feng shui as the ancient Chinese art of placement of objects for harmony. She focuses on Western feng shui, which involves “bagua”, the Chinese word for eight. Each bagua represents a different energy, including family, property and health.

“Change your stuff; change your life,” Slack said, adding that you can feng shui anything–a city, a room, a garden or your desk.
Slack will teach attendees about three main areas of feng shui. She will show you how to balance energy in a room, balance elements such as fire, earth, wood and water, and also which areas correspond to different areas of your life.
Slack said feng shui is not religious or magic. She will explain the science involved in it, which goes back thousands and thousands of years.
Slack said she has experienced a lot of success with clients using feng shui and also in her own life.
“We’re not in a fixed game,” Slack said. “Things are movable. Move it.”
