Huge Loss Ends Wyandotte Girls Basketball Season

In a quest for the district title, the Southgate Anderson girls basketball team came out strong and took an early lead over en route to a 51-26 victory Friday night.

Southgate never relinquished its dominance throughout the game.

Early turnovers caused Wyandotte to suffer in the first half, along with multiple missed shots and poor defensive rebounding.

"We had opportunities to score and we didn't limit their second chances," head coach Ron Adkins said. "They played well. They played great defense and we just didn't put the ball in the basket tonight."
