Kids Can Strike a Deal at Indian Lanes This Summer

Summer bowling leagues are on tap through the city's recreation, leisure and culture department.

Children and adults alike can have a ball of fun this summer at .

In conjunction with the city’s , the bowling center is offering three summer leagues.

The adult/youth “Have-A-Ball” league begins June 15. Teams consisting of one adult and one child will bowl two games at 6 p.m. Wednesdays for 10 weeks.

The cost is $8 per team per week, or $15 per team per week with the child receiving a brand new bowling ball and bag at the end of the season.

Bumpers are available upon request for younger children.

The youth-only bowling league begins the following week and includes bumper bowl for children ages 4 to 6.

The youth league bowls at 12:30 p.m. Wednesdays from June 22 to Aug. 10.

Children in preschool through fifth grades bowl two games a week for $4. Sixth-graders and up bowl three games a week for $6. All ages have a $5 registration fee that must be paid at Indian Lanes prior to the start of the league.

At registration, children can designate friends they would like to bowl with.
