Power Expected to be Restored Soon in Wyandotte
Some people reported seeing a flash at the city's power plant before electricity went out.

Wyandotte residents should have their power restored soon after losing it during a rain and wind storm Wednesday evening.
Melanie McCoy, general manager of , said employees are first trying to bring everyone's power back before they begin researching what caused the outage.
"We’re not sure exactly what it was," McCoy said, shortly before midnight. "Folks driving by reported seeing a flash. I'm guessing that we lost a transformer or an electrical bus. We're working now on getting everybody restored with power."
