WATCH: Wyandotte's World War II Victory Day Rally
The event was sponsored by Wyandotte Museums and included people dressed in era clothing.
As part of the 2012 Heritage Event Series, was held Saturday night at .
People arrived clad in period-appropriate clothing and presented their "war bond" tickets for entry. They had a chance to celebrate, drink and dance the night away, just as many did in 1945 when the Allied Forces officially declared victory.
Also inside the arena Saturday night were representations of the European and South Pacific theaters of the war, as well as pieces of military history, such as vehicles, weapons and uniforms.
