Properties are judged on many criteria, including color, texture, creative design with attention to planning, variety, hardscape elements and maintenance during the entire season.
Winners receive an award and are honored at a city council meeting in October. Photos of the winning entries also are posted on the city’s web site.

The nomination form can be printed by clicking on the PDF to the right. The deadline is Aug. 1. You can nominate as many addresses as you’d like (including your own), but must submit at least one nonreturnable photo of each nomination.
Homes and businesses that have received an award in the past are eligible for another award as long as a significant change or improvement has been made to the property since the last award.
