A 43-yard kickoff return by senior set up a third-quarter scoring drive, capped yet again by Matt crossing the goal line.
“Our linemen are just doing their job,” Matt said of his rushing performance this season, which includes nine touchdowns. “After that, it’s just one cut and I’m pretty much gone.”
The Rails did get a third-quarter touchdown to get on the board, but never managed to score again.
Dunn finished the scoring for the night with a 15-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter, making it 42-7, which was the final score.
Wyandotte head coach Ron Adams said he was pleased with the outcome. However, he said he was not completely happy with the Bears’ overall performance, which included allowing two consecutive sacks in the second half.
“It’s a good victory,” Adams said. “But we still have a lot of room for improvement. We’ve got to work a little harder in practice.”
