Wyandotte Hospital Celebrates National Nurses Week

Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital's nursing personnel are being treated to food, games and massages.

Nurses at are being honored this week with a picnic, games and massages.

The activities are taking place to celebrate National Nurses Week, May 6-12.

There also was a tea, where each unit honored its own nurse of the year.

Each unit also is hosting its own potluck and nurses have opportunities to attend continuing education courses throughout the week.

"As we celebrate Nurses' Week at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital, I want to thank the nurses who dedicate their lives to caring for our patients," says Josephine Wahl, chief nursing officer at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital. "Nurses make a professional commitment to care for our patients, their families and our community. We honor them special this week for the work they do each and every day here at Henry Ford Wyandotte."
