Wyandotte Musuems Hosts Hallowe'en Open House

Step back in time during the Hallowe'en Open House from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday.

Carved jack-o-lanterns and festive decorations greet visitors who stop in for a glimpse of Halloween celebrations of the past.

Various rooms are set up with different themes, including a traditional late 19th century funeral, the embalming process and Victorian mourning customs of the era.

Many of the artifacts are from , which is celebrating 154 years in Wyandotte this year.

The display will be up throughout the month.
