Residents must show a valid driver’s license or state ID to receive four free general admissions. Guests needn't live in Wyandotte as long as someone in the party is a resident.
In addition to the free admission, the Wyandotte Jazz Ensemble and Wyandotte African Drum and Dance Ensemble, which consist of students, will perform outside the DIA's Farnsworth Street entrance from noon to 1 p.m.

Wyandotte is one of 16 Michigan communities selected to host
As part of the project, the DIA has brought seven high-quality reproductions of art pieces from its collection to the streets of Wyandotte. Some of the pieces hang on the sides of buildings, while others are freestanding throughout the downtown area. The pieces are clustered within walking or biking distance from each other to encourage people to get out and view them all.
Inside|Out runs through June. A number of events, including live music and hands-on art, will take place in conjunction with the exhibit.

"The free admission day is a way of thanking the communities for their participation and for helping make Inside|Out such a success," said Natalie Rankine, director of Wyandotte's Downtown Development Authority. "The museum hopes that after discovering the reproductions around town, residents will come to the DIA to see the actual work of art."
