After more than two decades in Wyandotte, is looking to expand its restaurant space. The plan calls for a 47-feet by 20-feet addition onto the southwest corner at the rear of the building. Landscaping and a walkway are currently on the land, which is owned by the city. Restaurant officials are proposing to buy the land from the city and to hire to oversee the expansion project. "Nanna's Kitchen is a very wonderful business that has enhanced the downtown area for many years and to be able to expand would be beneficial to both the city of Wyandotte and the owner," David Adamczyk of D &amp; A Home Improvement wrote in a letter to city officials. Karen Mikhail, whose family owns the restaurant, said she's looking forward to being able to better serve customers. "Nanna's Kitchen has been established in the Wyandotte community for 27 years," she said. "There is a greater demand for seating, so there's definitely a need for an expansion." The plan calls for the addition of four, two-person tables; nine, four-person booths; and two, seven-person booths.
