You've Got Photos: Wyandotte Art Walk

More than 100 people came out over the weekend for a guided tour of the seven art pieces installed in downtown Wyandotte through .

Six narrated Art Walk tours took place Saturday and Sunday. Attendeeds rode the trolley to view each piece of artwork, where volunteers were on hand to speak about each painting. The tour also included a stop at the to check out the Artistic Creator's Guild Art Show and to listen to The Royal Garden Trio, which plays the original tune Miss Bliss from the DIA commercials. Wyandotte is one of 16 Michigan communities selected to host

As part of the project, the DIA has brought seven high-quality reproductions of art pieces from its collection to the streets of Wyandotte. Some of the pieces hang on the sides of buildings, while others are freestanding throughout the downtown area. The pieces are clustered within walking or biking distance from each other to encourage people to get out and view them all.

Inside|Out runs through June. A number of events, including live music and hands-on art, will take place in conjunction with the exhibit.
