Christmas Eve Firework Accident In Minnesota Sends 1 To Hospital
The firework explosion in Collegeville, Minnesota sent one Wisconsin man to the hospital.
COLLEGEVILLE, MN — One man was injured in Collegeville, Minnesota after a firework went off near his face on Christmas Eve. On Dec. 24 just after 11 p.m., the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a medical emergency on the 17000 block of Big Fish Lake Road in Collegeville Township.
Daniel Rothstein, 41, of Dane, Wisconsin, was lighting fireworks when one of them went off near his face. The firework injured Rothstein’s face, and he was transported to an area hospital for medical treatment.
Cold Spring Fire and Rescue and Mayo Ambulance assisted in the incident.
