Inmate, 32, Dies In Northern Minnesota Jail
Inmate Kenneth Kyle Beaupre, 32, collapsed in the "day room area" at 7:50 a.m., according to authorities.
ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MN — Authorities say an inmate at the St. Louis County Jail died Thursday morning. According to the county sheriff's office, inmate Kenneth Kyle Beaupre, 32, collapsed in the "day room area" at 7:50 a.m.
Corrections officers, jail medical staff, and first responders performed life-saving measures but were unable to revive him. Beaupre was pronounced dead at the jail at 8:45 p.m.
An investigator from the Midwest Medical Examiners Office responded to the scene and Beaupre was transported to their facility for a post mortem exam.

Preliminary results of the autopsy indicate that Beaupre had inflammation and infection of heart valves, infection of the lungs, and possible sepsis, according to a news release.
