Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals To Benefit From IHOP^® National Pancake Day

WHAT:

Twin Cities and Waite Park IHOP^® restaurant guests are invited to enjoy a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes on IHOP’s National Pancake Day in exchange for a voluntary contribution that will benefit Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare, a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. Guests are invited to contribute at least what they would have paid for the pancakes, or $5. IHOP restaurants are celebrating Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals’ 30^th anniversary during National Pancake Day.

Throughout January, leading into National Pancake Day, restaurant guests also have the option to purchase “Miracle Balloons” for $1 and $5 each, with all proceeds going to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Those who buy a $5 Miracle Balloon will receive a $5 off discount that can be credited toward their next visit.

WHY:

2013 marks the eighth year IHOP has celebrated National Pancake Day. The company’s goal this year is to raise $3 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and other local charities.
