A Portillo's Hot Dogs Restaurant Could Come To Apple Valley

APPLE VALLEY, MN — After a successful opening in Woodbury and a Maple Grove location well on its way to completion, Portillo's Hot Dogs could be coming to the south metro. Twin Cities-based developer Launch Properties is hoping to demolish an office building on Cedar Avenue and 147th Street and build a Portillo’s.

Launch Properties told the Star Tribune that they're trying to change site's zoning and get approvals for the project. Launch Properties principal Dan Regan is shooting for a summer 2018 opening.

If completed, the south Twin Cities metro location would be the third Portillo's Hot Dogs restaurant in the Twin Cities.
