Because Life is too Short for Bad Coffee....Questions to Contemplate

Quote from Movie: The Hangover
Stu Price: So, uh, are you sure you're qualified to be taking care of that baby?
Alan Garner: What are you talking about? I've found a baby before.
Stu Price: You found a baby before? Where?
Alan Garner: Coffee Bean.

Sometimes picking your favorite brew can be as confusing as a conversation from The Hangover.  Here are a few questions to pose when choosing the perfect coffee bean to take home for yourself.

First, pick your roast:  How do you like your steak prepared?  If you like it rare to medium which calls attention to the natural juices and flavors of the specific meat chosen a Full City roast (light to medium) is perfect for you.  If you like it medium well to well done emphasizing the smoky flavor choose a Vienna or French roast.

Second, pick the region in which your coffee comes from:  Do you like white wine or red?  Do you like green apples or red?  If you like the crisp clean tang of a white wine choose a coffee from Central or South America.  If you enjoy the smooth, bold qualities of red wine choose an African coffee.  If you appreciate a bold but earthy flavor go with an Indonesian brew.

Third, pick the specific country of origin:  For this I will offer one question; would you like the expertise of a certified coffee roaster or someone who has never seen a green coffee bean?  Visit us in the store for roasting demonstrations and get the specifics about each farm that our coffees come from.  We are happy to help you pick a favorite!!
