Since I last blogged...and I was reminded of it today. My fingers were not broken or anything, I just forgot....and I apologize.
The economy is still in transition and when you are trying to climb out of a 50 foot hole it takes a while.
Home Prices are still solid and interest rates; while they have risen some, are still awesome.
So lets talk purchasing a home...it is not as hard as you hear on the news and as long as the lender sets expectations with you during the process you should be fine. It is a perfect time to buy that cabin and of course....buy that first home. Need some help...just let me know and I can help guide you.
Refinancing in this market is a different story. With the loss of equity that so many os us have taken in Dakota County and other areas, some of us have even become upside down. Yes there are programs that many can use but not every loan is eligible for them. The best thing to do is give me a call and we can check it out. Trust me if you have the chance to refinance and you don't, you will kick yourself.
There are some lenders that are not offering these special programs to the full extent and as a result you may not be able to do what you want. I have the ability to offer the full extent and that opens things up a ton for you. We are hoping that the government will open up a program for those that are not HARP eligible by the end of the year.
Well now I guess I need to look at my daughters senior pics real fast on some website....we all know our daughters never like them but us parents always do.
