City of Rosemount Welcomes, Holds Ribbon Cutting for 'Get in Shape for Women' Franchise

City officials and community members officially welcomed a new small group personal training center, called Get in Shape for Women, to Rosemount Tuesday. 

The franchise location in Rosemount is the second in the State of Minnesota; the first location to open was in St. Louis Park. There are also franchises located throughout the nation.

According to Get in Shape Manager/Owner Angie Dehart, fliers with information about the new business have been sent to about 5,000 of the 7,500 homes in Rosemount.

"We'll do whatever we can do to encourage people to come in," Mayor Bill Droste told Dehart and Trainer/Owner Meghan Odom.

Dehart also explained that currently a lot of the personal training right not is one-on-one until the client base grows. Then, woman will be placed in groups of about four to exercise with.

Odom said, "The program is based off of our clients' personal goals. But the groups they're placed in is not based on combining clients together based on those goals."
